3. Receive the Gift together with your purchase.
4. Warranty will be automatically registered 8 days after delivery of product.
Redemption Steps (Manual Warranty Registration)
1. Purchase an eligible Sony Product from any Sony Authorised Retailer.
2. Register the product online.
3. Receive your complimentary gift notification within the Warranty Registration Acknowledgement Email, which you will receive within 10 minutes of successful warranty registration.
4. Present the Warranty Registration Acknowledgement Email, along with the receipt at the Authorised Retailer from whom you made the purchase.
5. Receive the Gift after store staff verifies the email and the serial number of the purchased item. Authorised Retailer will mark the redemption on the Receipt.
Terms & Conditions
1. Sony is extending a complimentary gift (B+W Master UV MRC Nano Filter - 95mm (worth $268) to customers who purchase and successfully register their warranty online for SEL50150GM/QSYX Lens (the "Product(s)").
2. The promotion is only valid from 25th April 2025 to 1st June 2025 (inclusive of both dates).
3. All promotions are only applicable to purchases made with authorised retailers in Singapore. For the list of authorised retailers, please refer to https://www.sony.com.sg/section/retailshops.
4. Customers who are eligible for Auto Warranty Registration (Purchased at Sony Stores excluding marketplaces) will receive their complimentary gift together with their purchase, provided they have linked their My Sony Rewards account at the point of purchase. Auto Warranty Registration will be activated 8 days after the date of delivery.
5. Customers who are not eligible for Auto Warranty Registration are required to register their warranty for their Product(s) within 14 days from date of receipt of product. No extensions will be granted. Terms and Conditions for My Sony Rewards registration apply.
a. Eligible customers who successfully register their warranty online will receive their complimentary gift notification within the Warranty Registration Acknowledgement Email within 10 minutes of registration.
b. If customers do not receive their complimentary gift notification within the Warranty Registration Acknowledgement Email within 14 days of successful warranty registration, please contact Sony’s Customer Contact Centre during operating hours (Monday – Friday, 1000hrs - 1700hrs excluding Public Holidays). Queries on this issue after 30 June 2025 will not be entertained.
c. Please redeem the complimentary gift within 14 days of receiving. No delivery service will be provided for the redemption.
d. Sony is not responsible for undelivered, misdirected (due to incorrect email address), of the My Sony Rewards Loyalty Voucher.
6. Each purchase of an eligible product will entitle the customer to one (1) complimentary gift which are available while stocks last.
7. Sony reserves the right to replace the complimentary gift with another item of similar value as determined by Sony at its sole discretion.
8. The complimentary gift is not exchangeable for cash or credit.
9. The original receipt of purchase must be retained and presented upon request by Sony for verification purposes.
10. In the event where the Customer returns the product, within the product return period, the Customer must also return the complimentary gift in good condition, along with the box and manuals failing which Sony reserves the right to levy a replacement cost to the Customer that shall not exceed the retail value of the complimentary gift.

Four precision XD (extreme dynamic) linear motors drive the focus group for fast, accurate, quiet focusing that maximises the AF performance potential of modern camera bodies. Tracking easily keeps up with the 120 fps3 maximum burst speed of the α9 III and is consistently reliable even while zooming. This is a perfect lens for professionals whose jobs depend on getting the shot.
Advanced expression and operation for movies
Focus breathing is effectively reduced for smooth movie imagery, and Linear Response MF allows precise manual focusing for maximum sharpness and resolution. Rack focus and zoom effects can be used with F2 depth of field to create natural transitions that guide the viewer’s eye. Critical focus for high frame rate 4K 120p/FHD 240p 4 recording is easy, and the entire system operates with minimal noise and vibration.
Professional control and reliability
Operability is enhanced by an aperture ring with click ON/OFF and lock switches, three assignable focus hold buttons, and a DMF switch that enables temporary switchover to manual focus while using AF. And although it is a relatively large lens, ample clearance is provided for the camera grip. The removable tripod foot has 1/4” and 3/8” screw holes, and a dust/moisture resistant design ensures maximum reliability.
