Making packaging more environmentally conscious

The Xperia 10 VI's packaging is plastic-free and uses the Sony-developed Original Blended Material, which is made from bamboo, sugarcane fibres and recycled paper, all of which are readily available around the world's largest manufacturing hubs in Asia. We've also made the packaging slim and compact for efficient transportation.

Eliminated plastic from our shipping package

Along with our previous plastic reduction efforts, we've now even removed the plastic tape used to seal our shipping cartons from the factory and replaced it with paper tape.
