WF-1000XM5 Trade-in Promotion Terms & Conditions.
1. Sony Store Online is extending a trade-in promotion for WF-1000XM5 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones (the “Product”) whereby you agree to trade-in an Eligible Trade-In Set* in exchange for a S$50 discount on the retail price of the WF-1000XM5 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones (“Trade-In Promotion”). By taking part in the Trade-In Promotion, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions herein (“Promotion Terms & Conditions”).
2. Trade-In Promotion is only valid from 11 September 2023 to 1 October 2023 (inclusive of both dates).
3. By purchasing the Product with the Trade-In Promotion, you agree to provide an Eligible Trade-In Set - any brand's Wireless Headsets or Truly Wireless Earphones (full set – inclusive of both earbuds, charging case and accessories) and follow these steps:
a. Checkout and complete payment of WF-1000XM5 with Trade-In Promotion.
b. If you have selected the delivery option,
i. Kindly expect a phone call and/or WhatsApp message at least 1 working day in advance from Sony to arrange delivery of the Product together with the collection of the Eligible Trade-In Set (estimated to commence in mid August).
ii. Delivery will not be arranged until we have received a confirmation from you. Kindly prepare the Eligible Trade-In Set and hand it over to the delivery personnel at point of delivery. Delivery personnel shall have the absolute discretion to reject the Trade-In Set for any reason whatsoever.
iii. Should the Trade-In Set be rejected, the Product will not be delivered. In such a scenario, you will have to contact Sony at +65 6341 9945 to arrange for a store pick-up at Sony Store Wisma with an Eligible Trade-In Set. Sony Store personnel shall also have the absolute discretion to reject the Trade-In Set for any reason whatsoever. Sony will not arrange for a re-delivery.
c. If you have selected the store pick-up option, kindly bring down the Eligible Trade-In Set and hand it over to the Sony Store personnel at point of collection. Sony Store personnel shall have the absolute discretion to reject the Trade-In Set for any reason whatsoever.
d. In the event your intended Trade-In Set is rejected at the point of delivery and/or at Sony Store Wisma, you agree to either pay S$50 as a refund of the Trade-In Promotion and your purchase of the Product will be completed, or you will be refunded all amounts paid in connection with the Trade-In Promotion and your purchase of the Product will be cancelled.
4. Trade-In Promotion is limited to a maximum of one (1) Eligible Trade-in Set in for each WF-1000XM5 purchased through the Trade-in Promotion.
5. You represent and warrant that you are the owner of the Eligible Trade-In Set and that no third party has any title, rights and/or interest in the Eligible Trade-In Set.
6. All title to your Eligible Trade-in Set will be passed to Sony when you purchase a new WF-1000XM5 through this Trade-in Promotion.
7. The amount of trade-in rebate awarded is at Sony Electronics (Singapore) Pte Ltd’s (“Sony”) discretion. No negotiation of the amount of the trade-in rebate will be entertained.
8. Trade-In Promotion is not valid in conjunction with other discounts, promotions and staff card or any other cards.
9. By placing an order on this Site, you offer to purchase the Products from Sony Electronics (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. (“Sony”), and agree to be bound by these Promotion Terms & Conditions as well as the standard Terms & Conditions. In the event of a conflict between the Promotion Terms & Conditions and the standard Terms & Conditions, Promotion Terms & Conditions shall prevail.
10. You agree to defend, indemnify and hold Sony and its officers and employees harmless from and against all actions, proceedings, claims, demands, loss and damages (including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys’ fees, legal fees and costs on a full indemnity basis) arising out of or in connection with the Trade-In Promotion.
11. Sony reserves the right to, at any time, and in its sole and absolute discretion, change or modify the Promotion Terms & Conditions without prior notice, including but not limited to cancelling, extending terminating or suspending the Trade-In Promotion, and all customers shall be bound by these amendments.
