REON POCKET TAG is a wearable device that uses its built-in sensors to measure the temperature and humidity of the environment around the device, for even smarter control of the REON POCKET.

It can also be used as a standalone device.

You can easily check the temperature and humidity around the TAG via your smartphone.

Attach it to your breast pocket or bag to use it.

*The REON POCKET TAG clip is suitable for thicknesses from 0.7mm to 2.5mm.

Sensor Integration and Real-Time Environmental Monitoring

Three built-in sensors detect a range of information around the device and take measurements according to the situation.

Temperature and humidity sensor: Measures temperature and humidity in real-time and controls adjusting the temperature of your REON POCKET device.

Light and proximity sensor: Detects light and approaching objects. For example, when it has been put inside a pocket, there will be a notification shown on the app informing that the tag is not sensing the temperature and humidity of the environment.

Acceleration sensor: Detects movement and increases measurement frequency when in motion. To conserve battery, it also decreases measurement frequency when the user has remained stationary for a while, such as when they have gone to bed.

Various internal components have been sealed effectively, and the device is designed to be dust and splash resistant to prevent ingress of water droplets and dust.

Dynamic Temperature Display Based on Ambient Changes

When the ambient temperature of the TAG changes, an estimation of the achieved temperature may be displayed. Therefore, the displayed temperature may rise and fall during this estimation, but will stabilise after some time

Automated Thermal Adaptation Using SMART COOL⇔WARM MODE

When connected with REON POCKET (RNP-3, RNP-4, & RNP-5), it can detect both the temperature inside the clothing and the temperature around the device. This is how it automatically adjusts the cooling or warming temperature to suit the environment. Furthermore, the SMART COOL⇔WARM MODE detects environmental changes and automatically switches between COOL and WARM, so no manual operation is required.

Seasonal and Daily Environmental Responsiveness

The device automatically adjusts itself to suit changes in the environment, even during seasons with extreme temperature changes or days with large temperature differences. Temperature to switch between COOL and WARM can be set to your preference in the app menu.

It can be surprisingly difficult to ascertain the temperature and humidity of your environment. The TAG can also be used as a stand-alone device. By attaching the TAG to your breast pocket, bag or any other location of your choice, you can easily check the temperature and humidity around the TAG via the dedicated smartphone/smartwatch app.

b. Secure Attachment Options for the REON POCKET TAG

Use the clip to attach the TAG to your breast pocket, bag or any other location of your choice, and do not cover the sensor area when attaching.

If you are concerned about the tag falling off, you can attach a carry strap or similar to the grip through a keyring.

c. Monitoring Temperatures in Prams with REON POCKET TAG

The temperature inside prams in the summer can be a concern due to the increased temperature and humidity. By attaching REON POCKET TAG, you can check the temperature and humidity inside the pram via the dedicated app.
