TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. The “Sony Store Year End Promo Lucky Draw” (“Giveaway”) is organized by Sony Electronics (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. (“Sony”) and by taking part in this Giveaway, you agreed to be bound by the following terms & conditions (“Terms & Conditions”).

QUALIFYING PERIOD

  1. The Giveaway qualifying period is from 10 November 2022, 00:00H to 2nd January 2023, 23:59H (SGT), both dates inclusive. (“Qualifying Period”)

ELIGIBILITY

  1. You must be a resident of Singapore and make your Qualifying Purchase (as defined below) within the qualifying period.


PRIZES

  1. Each participant stands a chance to win attractive prizes as set out below:
  • 1st Prize: Sony Bravia 65” 4K TV (worth S$3499)
  • 2nd Prize: KLOOK voucher (worth S$1000) (additional terms and conditions may apply)
  • 3rd Prize: Xperia 10M4 (worth S$649)
  • Consolation Prize (x10): SS voucher (worth S$100 each) (additional terms and conditions may apply)

Each a “Prize” and collectively the “Prizes”.

The Prizes are non-exchangeable and is not redeemable for cash, credit or other prizes.

  1. Sony reserves the right to, at any time and in its sole and absolute discretion, replace and/or substitute the Prize(s) with any other item of a similar value.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

  1. A participant is required to make a minimum purchase of S$500 under a single invoice (excluding Playstation console & related products) and register their product(s) online for product warranty during the Qualifying Period (“Qualifying Purchase”) to be eligible for the giveaway from Sony Stores in Singapore and /or Sony Store Online. Each participant may make multiple Qualifying Purchases, each of which will count as an additional entry in the Giveaway draw. Notwithstanding the foregoing, for TVs that are purchased, such TVs do not have to be registered online for product warranty during the Qualifying Period to be considered a “Qualifying Purchase”. For the avoidance of doubt, if several products are purchased together in a single invoice, only one product will need to be registered online for product warranty during the Qualifying Period for that to be considered a “Qualifying Purchase”. Further, if a TV is purchased together with other products in a single invoice, the participant must register at least one of the products online for product warranty during the Qualifying Period for that to be considered a “Qualifying Purchase”.

    7. The winner for the Giveaway (“Winner(s)”) will be determined solely by a random draw which will take place in Singapore on 16 January 2023 at 10:00H (SGT) (” Draw Date”). The “Draw Date” is subject to change based on the prevailing regulations and guidance on Safe Management Measures for COVID-19.
  2. The winners will be notified via email (as provided for in Clause 9) within seven (7) calendar days of the Draw Date.
  3. The winners shall be contacted using his/her contact & identification details (such as his/her email address) which he/she provided to Sony in the course of the participants making their Qualifying Purchase to notify him/her that he/she has won a Prize.
  4. Sony reserves the right not to award the Prize or part thereof to any person who, for any reason whatsoever (including but not limited to cancelling and/or making returns on a Qualifying Purchase), fails to meet any stipulated requirement in order to claim the Prize. Sony reserves the right not to award the Prize to the winner and/or reclaim the Prize or its value (based on Suggested Retail Price) from the winner. In the event Sony decides not to award the Prize to the winner and/or reclaims the Prize or its value (based on Suggested Retail Price) from the winner, it shall be in Sony sole discretion to award the Prize to another participant.
  5. The winners are solely responsible for all costs incurred in connection with his/her claiming of the Prize, including but not limited to travelling or transportation expenses, insofar as these are not specifically indicated as part of the Prize.
  6. Sony shall not be liable for warranties, maintenance, taxes or any additional costs of the Prize. The Prize will be awarded only in Singapore.

GENERAL

  1. Sony’s decisions on all matters relating to the Giveaway shall be final and binding.
  2. Sony reserves the right at any time in its sole and absolute discretion to determine and/or amend or vary these terms and conditions without prior notice, including but not limited to cancelling, extend, terminating or suspending this Giveaway, the eligibility terms and criteria, the selection and number of winners, and the timing of any act to be done, and all participants shall be bound by these amendments.
  3. Sony shall not be responsible for any injury, loss or damage suffered as a result of, or in connection with the Giveaway and/or redemption or use of the Prize howsoever arising, including but not limited to, fulfillment of the prize(s), any error in computing chances, any breakdown or malfunction in any computer system or equipment, any notice which is misdirected and/or lost in the post, loss of income, profits or goodwill, direct or indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive or special damages of any party including third parties howsoever arising whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise. For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation, termination or suspension by Sony of this Giveaway shall not entitle any party to any claim or compensation against Sony for any and all losses or damage suffered or incurred as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension.
  4. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any advertising, promotional, publicity and other materials relating to or in connection with the Giveaway, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
