TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. The “Reon Pocket Pro X G2000 Collaboration Giveaway” (“Campaign”) is organised by Sony Electronics (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. (“Sony”) and by taking part in this Giveaway, you agree to be bound by the following terms & conditions (“Terms & Conditions”).
QUALIFYING PERIOD
2. The Campaign qualifying period is from 3 Oct 2025, 00:00H to 5 Nov 2025, 23:59H (SGT), both dates inclusive (“Qualifying Period”).
3. Sony reserves the right to change the Qualifying Period.
ELIGIBILITY
4. You must be 18 years and above, be a resident of Singapore and be registered as a new My Sony Rewards member to participate in the campaign.
5. The following categories of people are not eligible to participate in the Campaign: Employees of Sony and its affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies of Sony together with their employees, and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each of the aforesaid persons are not eligible to participate in this Campaign.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
6. Participant must meet the below criteria:
a. Participant must have purchased a Reon Pocket Pro within the Qualifying Period.
b. Participant is required to sign up for an account at https://mysony.sony-asia.com/sg/contact/signup/.
c. Participant must be subscribed to the marketing newsletter and emailers at
the point of account creation until at least the Draw Date as specified below.
7. There will be 3 Campaign winners in total. The winners for the Campaign will be determined solely by a random draw which will take place in Singapore on 12 Nov 2025 at 15:00H (SGT) (”Draw Date”). Unless Sony notifies otherwise, the random draw will be conducted by means of a computerised system in front of an audience on the above Draw Date and time.
PRIZES
8. Subject to these Terms and Conditions, each Participant stands a chance to win
an attractive prize as set out below:
• $200 G2000 Shopping Credits, in the form of a physical voucher
• Travel Laptop Backpack (worth $109)
9. The prize is non-exchangeable and is not redeemable for credit or other prizes.
10. Sony reserves the right to, at any time and in its sole and absolute discretion, replace and/or substitute the prize with any other item of a similar value.
11. The winner will be notified via email (as provided for in Clause 10) within seven
(7) calendar days of the Draw Date.
12. The winner shall be contacted using their contact and identification details (such
as their email address) which they provided to Sony.
13. The winner will be notified through email that they have won a prize and a Redemption letter will be sent to winner via email. Sony accepts no responsibility or liability in the event that a winner cannot be contacted and/or in the event the winner do collect the prize within the stipulated period.
14. Acceptance of any prize shall constitute consent on the winner’s part to allow the use of the winner’s name, image, voice and/or likeness by Sony for editorial, advertising, promotional, marketing and/or other purposes without further compensation except where prohibited by law. Acceptance of any prize shall constitute a release and discharge of Sony by each winner from any and all liability, claims, demands, causes of action, and/or damages which the winner may have, whether known or unknown at the present time, of any nature whatsoever, arising out of or relating to: (i) the Contest, (ii) personal injury and/or property damage, theft or loss suffered by the Winner as a result of the use and/or enjoyment of the prize, and/or (iii) any tax liabilities in relation to the Contest, prize and/or use or enjoyment of the same.
15. Sony reserves the right not to award the prize or part thereof to any person who,
for any reason whatsoever, fails to meet any stipulated requirement in order to
claim the prize. Sony reserves the right not to award the prize to the winner and/or
reclaim the prize or its value (based on Suggested Retail Price) from the winner.
It shall be in Sony's sole discretion to award the prize(s) to another participant.
16. The winner is solely responsible for all costs incurred in connection with their claiming of the prize, including but not limited to travelling or transportation expenses, insofar as these are not specifically indicated as part of the prize.
17. Sony shall not be liable for warranties, maintenance, taxes or any additional costs
of the prizes. The prizes will be awarded only in Singapore.
18. Sony’s decision regarding the award of all prizes, and/or in every situation including any not covered in these Terms and Conditions, shall be final and binding on all participants in the Campaign, and no queries, themes or appeals may be made or entertained regarding Sony’s decision on the same. The receipt by any winner of any prize under the Campaign is conditional upon compliance with any and all applicable laws, rules and regulations.
USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
19. Information - All information, including personal information (“Information”)
submitted or known to Sony and/or its affiliates in connection with this Campaign
will only be used for the purposes set out in and treated in accordance with these
Terms and Conditions and those stipulated in the Privacy Policy of Sony at
https://www.sony-asia.com/microsite/privacypolicy/sg/ (“Privacy Policy)
20. By participating in the Campaign, you agree to consent to Sony:
a. to the use of the Information, without compensation, for Sony's promotional
and marketing purposes; and
b. to the use of the Information, without compensation, for the purpose of
administration in relation to the Campaign.
21. Each individual participating to this Campaign acknowledges that:
a. in respect of any Personal Information disclosed by her/him to Sony or obtained by Sony from her/him pursuant to this Campaign:
b. she/he is authorised to disclose such Personal Information; such disclosure complies with any Privacy Legislation from any country, within the geographical scope of this Campaign, and the use of such Personal Information by Sony as contemplated by this Giveaway (including, without limitation, the disclosure of such Personal Information to Sony's external agencies or third parties)
GENERAL
22. Sony reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate or suspend the
Campaign without any liability to you should there be unforeseeable events which
in Sony’s absolute opinion may jeopardize the process of the Campaign.
23. Sony reserves the right to disqualify the winner or revoke any prizes awarded if it
has reasonable grounds to believe that the winner has breached these Terms and
Conditions, or on any grounds as Sony may in its sole discretion decide.
24. Sony's decisions on all matters relating to the Campaign shall be final and binding.
25. Creation of My Sony Rewards membership account is subject to My Sony
Membership Terms and Conditions.
26. Sony reserves the right at any time in its sole and absolute discretion to determine
and/or amend or vary these terms and conditions without prior notice, including
but not limited to cancelling, extend, terminating or suspending this Campaign, the
eligibility terms and criteria, the selection and number of winners, and the timing
of any act to be done, and all Participants shall be bound by these amendments.
27. Sony shall not be responsible for any injury, loss or damage suffered as a result
of, or in connection with the Campaign and/or redemption or use of the prizes
howsoever arising, including but not limited to, fulfillment of the prize, any error in
computing chances, any breakdown or malfunction in any computer system or
equipment, any notice which is misdirected and/or lost in the post, loss of income,
profits or goodwill, direct or indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive
or special damages of any party including third parties howsoever arising whether
in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise. For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation,
termination or suspension by Sony of this Campaign shall not entitle any party to
any claim or compensation against Sony for any and all losses or damage suffered
or incurred as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or
suspension.
28. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any
advertising, promotional, publicity and other materials relating to or in connection
with the Campaign, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
29. The Terms and Conditions of this Campaign shall be governed by and construed
in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
